So much fun!
On the 9th and 10th of April, the landlocked Ultimate community of South Africa came together for the last tournament in the lead up to Nationals and the second biggest tournament in Gauteng, BINNELANDERS.
This year the tournament was held at the University of Witwatersrand pristine cricket oval and had two fields running simultaneously.
The participating teams were as follows :
- Bloemfontein
- Donkeys
- Frankenteam (a pickup team comprised of players from Polokwane, Durban and Johannesburg)
- Skyveld
- Spirits (a pickup team comprised of players from Soweto, Potchefstroom and Johannesburg)
- Tuks Labradors
- Ultitude
- Wits VooDoo Kudus
This meant over 130 players attending ! The tournament also followed the WFDF rules of 3 women on a line, which almost all teams were able to maintain with 4 to 6 women per team.
Saturday was a beautiful day with no wind and even a delicious braai organized by the VooDoo Kudus.
